Style It & Shoot It NEW 4-week course! Begins June 17. #34
Style It & Shoot It NEW 4-week course! Begins June 17.  Do you want to set up your own photo shoots to build your styling portfolio? Do you have a creative concept or new product you want to market?

Or your goal may be shooting products for the Web, either on your own site or selling on sites like eBay. A well-lighted and styled photo can make the difference.

It would never have been possible for small business owners to create their own photography until a few years ago. Now, marketing via the World Wide Web, combined with simpler digital cameras and image editing software have made that option more common. Small images can be created right in the workplace.

And then the items you are photographing can be styled to realistically portray them, show their features, and create an appealing presentation.

This 4-week online course is designed to provide you with the skills to produce quality images with a basic understanding of photographic lighting and composition – and without expensive equipment. And to style your items, especially soft goods, fabrics, and clothing in a way that will flatter – and sell – them.

Two instructors collaborate in teaching this class:
Photography Instructor is Peter Romfh. With over 50 years of experience in photography, Pete is uniquely qualified to teach photography to non-professionals. No need to invest in professional lights and cameras if you want to create images for your own use or for low resolution Web sales. Use Pete's practical techniques to set up an economical studio and create the quality images you need.

Styling Instructor is Susan Linnet Cox. Susan has been involved in all areas of photo shoots for over two decades. She has specialized in catalog design and art directing photo shoots, followed by her real love, styling. Building on Photo Styling 101, she will provide you with techniques for styling your products in the shot.

Course begins Tuesday, June 17, with lessons being sent every Tuesday for four weeks. This course is completely online and you do not need to buy textbooks or attend classes. Learn at home on your own schedule!

Fun and challenging assignments will be presented weekly, designed to help you improve your shots.

From our case study:
Thanks for all your advice. My photos have improved dramatically already, and I am sure it will help with business.
Thanks! Sheffield MacIntyre
